Where this bottle fits
This is the matte black entry of the SEALAND square platform: a 50 ml men's flacon in colour-coated thick glass with a matching matte black cap, so bottle and cap read as one monolithic black object. It is built for the categories that live in black — men's fragrance, dark luxury, Arabic and oriental lines, and niche perfumery — where the shelf language is already dark and the bottle has to hold its silhouette against it.
A 100 ml full size is available on the same platform for lines that want a two-step men's ladder.
Specification
Key values for this format: 50 ml capacity (100 ml on the same platform); square body with a flat front panel; colour-coated thick-walled glass in a deep uniform matte black; extra-visible thick weighted base; matching matte black cap. Neck finish and exact outline dimensions are confirmed per order at sampling; reference proportions against the 100 ml size are shown in the gallery.
Why matte black
Black is the category language of masculine and oriental perfumery — oud, amber and dark accords are almost always packaged dark. A matte black flacon gives a launch instant access to that visual register, and the flat panels take silver or white silk-screen artwork with strong contrast.
The coating is applied to thick glass, not thin: the weighted base keeps the black bottle substantial in the hand, which is where dark bottles otherwise most often give themselves away.
Compatible components
The neck determines which sprayer, collar and cap seat correctly, and it is confirmed for this item at sampling: crimp for high-speed filling lines, or screw per your filling line. The standard cap is the matching matte black; contrasting metallic finishes are available per order for brands that want the cap to break the monolith.
Customization options
Customisation available on this format: silver or white silk screen, hot stamping, a frosted clear window that reveals the juice through the black coating, alternative coating colours and cap finishes. The clear-window treatment is a common route for dark-luxury lines that want the fragrance visible without leaving the black language.
Packaging
Export packing is configured to your fulfilment workflow: individual matte black gift boxes, divided grid master cartons and pallet-ready export packing. Carton and pallet specifications are confirmed with the order.
MOQ, samples and lead time
Standard stock: 500 pcs. With your logo or a custom colour: 1,000 sets. With a custom mould: 30,000 sets. Samples of stock bottles are free of charge. Typical lead time is 7-30 days depending on specification and quantity; exact timing is confirmed with the order.
Quality checks
Closure fit, spray performance, leak-risk and decoration inspection are evaluated on the assembled pack, with a coating check on colour-coated formats. Dimensional checks run against the approved drawing, base thickness is sampled, and packed cartons undergo a transit check before dispatch. These checks are run per order and the results ship with the order.
Buyer questions
Is the black glass or plastic?
It is thick-walled glass with a colour coating — the weighted base and glass mass are clearly present under the coating.
Can we print on the black bottle?
Yes. Silver and white silk screen sit on matte black with strong contrast, and hot stamping is available.
Can part of the bottle stay clear?
Yes — a frosted clear window through the black coating is a common dark-luxury treatment, confirmed on the drawing at sampling.
What is the MOQ?
500 pcs for stock, 1,000 sets with your logo or a custom colour, and 30,000 sets if a custom mould is required.
Can I get a sample?
Samples of stock bottles are free of charge. Decorated or custom samples are quoted against the specification.
What is the lead time?
